Public Liability Insurance

You must have public liability insurance with a limit of indemnity relevant to the scale of the operation in respect of any one accident or series of accidents arising out of your filming activities, i.e.

One million pounds (£1,000,000) - Minimal activity/impact (eg handheld equipment/student films)
Two million pounds (£2,000,000) - Small scale productions with simple filming sequences
Five million pounds (£5,000,000+) - Larger scale productions or any complex filming sequence
