Terms & Conditions
 
 

 
1.
   Payment terms are strictly 28 days from invoice date unless otherwise agreed.
2.
  

New Clients

75% of the total shoot fee is due and payable within 4 working days prior to the first day of the shoot. The remaining 25% of the fee is due and payable on the last day of the shoot. This only applies to a new clients first shoot.
3.
  

Late Payment of Commercial Debts

I understand and will exercise my statutory right to claim interest at 8% above the Bank of England base rate at the date the debt becomes overdue in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998. I will also claim compensation for debt recovery costs. Click here.

4.
  

I will help, advise and recommend equipment to his clients for a specific requirement but any guidance or advise will not in any circumstances render me liable for the possible inability of the equipment to perform the tasks for which it was ordered and provided.
5.
  

Overtime will be charged at one tenth of the daily rate after ten hours. Overtime will be calculated from standard day rates and not discounted rates.
6.
   Overnights accommodation and meals will be charged at cost.
7.
   Congestion charges, car parking, road tunnel/bridge tolls and other reasonable expenses will be charged at cost.  

 
8.
   All bought in or hired in goods will be charged at cost + 15%
9.
   Equipment insurance (Excess £750)
10.
  

Intellectual Property Rights

Any intellectual property rights applicable remain with Peter Burns until full and final 'Payment' has been received in accordance with the copyright, design and patents act 1988
11.
  

Cancellations. 24hrs or less 100% is payable. Cancellation after an official booking has been received 33% is payable.
12.
   VAT will be charged at the current United Kingdom rate.
13.
   All prices are in GB Pounds Sterling.
14.
   All rates are based on a 10hr day base to base. Unless otherwise agreed, for the purpose of travel time and mileage, my base is Nottingham.
15.
   Force Majeure
No liability is accepted for failure of performance due to any other circumstances outside the control of Peter Burns
16.
   I reserve the right to alter prices, equipment specifications without prior notice.
17.
   Providing services to a company or individual constitutes acceptance of my Terms & Conditions.
18.
   Rates and terms are current from December 2009
