Scottish born and raised in Wales, Peter Burns began photographing at the age of 14 and was shooting 16mm movie films by the age of 17.
Pete's been an accomplished freelance lighting cameraman for the past twenty years and has shot hours of prime time television collecting an impressive list of credits.
Although moving images are a large part of Pete’s life, he is always drawn back to his childhood love of photography and believes it’s the ‘creative idea’ that makes a good shot; not the media it's shot on.
EQUIPMENT
His preference for camera is the new Canon 5D Mark 2 which is a 21 megapixel full frame camera that’s capable of capturing stunning images.
His three favourite Canon lenses are the 17-40mm f4 L, 24-105mm f4 L and a 70-200mm f4 L
